RF Skin Tightening is suitable for most skin types. However, it has some contraindications, including:
• Pacemakers or internal defibrillators
• Metal implants in the treatment area (Dental implants permitted)
• Active Cold Sores/Herpes in the treatment area
• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding
• Uncontrolled Diabetes

Your therapist will apply a special RF Tripollar Gel to the treatment area. The RF Skin Tightening handpiece will be moved across the treatment area until the area is heated to the correct temperature to achieve skin tightening. There is no pain associated. It feels like a hot stone massage on your face.

Your skin will look and feel plump and glowing. You will be a little flushed from the warmth of the treatment, but this subsides within about an hour.

There is no specific pre-treatment care. Aftercare is always to apply SPF daily, and results will be best achieved when supported with a home care regime of cosmeceuticals. We recommend avoiding anything that will cool the skin for 6 hours post-treatment, such as having a cool shower.
